Matawa Education and Rotary Club Bursaries

Matawa Education and Rotary Club Bursaries Each year Matawa students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 are encouraged to submit a written piece to the Matawa office for the Annual Bowmanville competition. Prizes are available for classes and individuals based on the quality of writing. The bursary provides financial assistance for awards and bursaries to encourage Matawa First Nations students in their educational endeavors. This initiative is sponsored through the Bowmanville and Port Hope Rotary Clubs. These honours recognize the outstanding achievement and leadership of students who have demonstrated exemplary qualities in the areas of education, initiative, inspiration, volunteer work, and school community contributions.
